Damn, just got the booklet for the SID international symposium, seminar, and exhibition, and I want to go so bad, but I don't think I can. Already missed several days of school presenting my quantum computing project. They have such nice stuff.....new info on OLEDs, new TFT developments, future stuff, etc. Anyone else going- GoSharks, Teq?

Haha, they have something on second generation FFD and <8msec rt! will give more stuff when I have more time to read the booklet.

lol, you still dreaming about FFD... 2nd generation? where is the 1st one? by the time this will be out you'll probably gonna get blind... :)

Hey, at least someone's putting in the time for it. They already constructed an LCD using that. If companies like it, the we will have it. I want to go to see the new techs and really see if some r realistic. Being a competitor in as many science competitions as I can, I have great faith in the sciences and beleive in at least some of these techs coming out in the not too distant future.

I told you before that at any given time they are working on many different technologies, typically one out of every ten ever make it to the market. Just because they have a prototype does not mean it will ever make it into a product.
