Side case fan should blow in or out.

I have a rear exhaust, top exhaust, front intake, so my side fan should be intake, right?

Yes as this will keep the cases airflow as positive enclosed which is one of the best possible airflow types, at the moment your computer sounds to have a negative enclosed airflow which is pretty bad meaning there is too much "dirty" air in your computer meaning the air has been in there a while and is hot causing the pc to heat up rather than cool down, the addition of a good side fan will reverse this and help with cooling.
