Side effect or something else?

So ive been using vpn to play a game only in thailand and everytime i use the vpn it messes with my youtube watch history. im not sure if its some side effect or something worse. Maybe you guys know?

Sure sounds like it's an issue of the VPN since that changes the IP address and location that YouTube sees.

even when im not on the vpn it happens. also im not even on youtube when im using vpn im just on the game. plus as of today it is still happening

Youtube like most other things stores data in the browser. There are likely cookies and other things stored. Brute force you could clear all the data or you could try to dig through and find what youtube has stored.

it happens everyday i see stuff on the history that i dont watch and delete it sometimes it shows on the search history. Ive changed the password and it still happening

Read online but have no idea what it is on my end. same videos come up on the history almost eveytime i get on youtube. ive tried cleaning all of chrome and youtube still happens. i log everything off from gmail but still get random IPs from other states so not sure if its from the vpn anymore. maybe a fresh install of chrome? btw nice update on the site but the email notifications still dont work when someone replies.

Figured it out possibly my old ps4 may of had my youtube account logged in
