Hi gyus,

I have the be quiet 900 pro case and was wondering if adding a side panel intake fan is worth it? I have read conflicting information on this topic but I feel that an additional side intake fan would proivde even further cooling to the GPU and CPU. Is this true? The one problem I see is that I have no dust filter for the side panel intake fan. Is dust collection through this intake fan a major concern? If so, any advice as to where I could purchase an aftermarket dust filter for this slot? I plan on using a 140mm fan.
Any value to using this as an exhaust fan or should it be an intake?

Thank you in advance for any help/advice.

Solution
It helps if the fan has enough RPM and CFM
About the dust filter, is really not a big deal, my case has no filters at all and there's not a lot of dust inside it, computer runs 24/7 and I have to clean it (interior) every 3 months, mainly the intake fans and GPU, but, if you care about seeing dust particles inside your build, get a filter on Ebay or Amazon, just type "140mm fan dust filter"
Here's one https://www.amazon.com/eBoot-Computer-Cooler-Filter-Dustproof/dp/B01IBA1D0Q/
It's actually a 10 pieces pack, standard filters

Side fans shouldn't exhaust air, hot air is lighter than cold air, so it will always move upwards, that's why exhaust fans should be located at the rear and top parts of the case, and intakes at the front, bottom...

Thanks for the reply!
I currently I have 3 front mounted intake fans (Noctua NF-a14 ppc-2000), 2 of which are mounted to the radiator of my H115i. I have 3 top mounted exhaust fans (be quiet silent wings 3 which were included with the case) and one rear exhaust fan (also NF-a14 ppc-2000). My CPU temps are about 26-29C idle and under aida64 load (2+ hours), the cores of my CPU range from 55-63C.
