How can I install my sidewinder game controller software 3.0 on my computer with xp?When I try the prompt says its incompatible with xp. Are there drivers which will make it compatable?

There are many different 'Sidewinder' products.

Driving wheels
Various joysticks
Strategic commander (left-handed static mouse type)

The were all designed for Windows 95/98/98SE. Some of the software can be installed under XP using compatibility mode but if the drivers are incompatible then there is no support from Microsoft. MS removed all the links from their download centre years ago. I have successfully installed the original software (from the box CD) for the Strategic Commander on an XP machine and even had it work partially in an XP virtual machine under Windows7/64.

I'm afraid MS killed the line ages ago.
