Hello,

I've signed a device driver, still it is giving error "Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)".

Please help to look into the issue, what could be the problem.

Thanks!

And the device would be what ? - Different solutions !

You are not being specific enough, as there are many different card readers.
I would do a search for the product name + "error code 52 to see what results you get.

TRY Following

Switch off computer
Start
Press F8 (before boot)
Select Disable Drive signature enforcement (use arrows on keyboard)
press enter let it come up to speed and....wow...

Your computer should then accept your device (whilst it is still running), but it will revert to previous fault after shut down.
Advise If this has worked for you since there is an addition that can be provided to avoid the repeated F8 procedure
