So i have my CPU overclocked at 5ghz, its a i7 8700k. Since updating my bios ive been getting CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT. Is this a sign that my CPU is going bad?
That’s part of overclocking. How did you get it to 5.0 GHz? There is a chance you can’t get it stable. Depending on the voltage and temperature you are already running you might be able to increase the voltage or you might be best to try 4.9GHz. With overclocking it is trial and error to see what works and is stable. How would i get it to stabalizeI
