I built my own system a few months ago and it powered up and worked well. I only brought up the BIOS and didn't install an operating system. Then after a few months I did some cable management on the system and it refused to POST. I only have a CPU (with integrated graphics), RAM, HDD and PSU, I didn’t add any new devices. I have connected the system to my monitor by HDMI but it fails to give an input but does show that there is a working system plugged in.
The Power Supply works as it turns on another system and the RAM and Hard Drive also work without problem in that system. I have reset the BIOS and the fans begin to spin, the read and write LED on the front of the case turns on as well as the power LED. However, the system still fails to POST and fails to give any input.
I don't believe the Motherboard is dead as it gives out the signals for the Hard Drive read and write LED but it does not give a beep when it turns on, even if I run the system with no RAM.
