hi,

how does having multiple fans affect the db rating. ie is having 4 20db fans going to be louder than having 3 20db or is it just the highest decible rating that will be roughly the ammount of noise your pc makes?

[Crashman]

Doubling the number of fans adds 3db. Every 10db if noise increase doubles the volume. So going from 1 to 10 fans doubles the noise.
