Ive played all of the silent hills and i love them all. Even though sh2
doesnt have anything to do with the others i still love it because its just
as fuct up as the others. I mean if u think about it silent hill just doesnt
make sense. its just too weird. what do you think?

I've tried to make sense of Silent Hill but gave up. I think the whole
point of the games is that they don't make sense. The characters are
dealing with dark forces way out their control which is the appeal of the
game in that there isn't an obvious way to defeat the evil.

The other good thing about the strangness and vagueness of the games is
that there is rarely continulity problems unlike RE. Although the games
aren't directly linked plot wise they are through location and themes.

Even in the demo of SH4 Henry had been to Silent Hill and visited locations
such as the lake and lighthouse and i'm convinced that he lives in the same
city that the 1st half of SH3 was set (I need the check the names of the
subway lines but i'm sure some of them are the same).
