What DAW are you using?

Kaby Lake CPU's were made with Win 10 in mind and AFAIK 7 is not supported officially.

More silent also windows 7 will have issues because it's not supported by skylake officially anymore and lacks drivers. Win 10 is the best option.

Yes Win10 would be the best option but due to the fact that the OP's DAW is old and not supported by Win 10 then 7 is the option that might work.

OP you need to think about a few things. Your DAW hasn't been updated in a while as far as I've seen. Additionally, it does not support Win10. You might want to start thinking about upgrading your DAW.

The best solution for a recording studio would be to stuff the PC in a soundproofed technical closet. That way, you don't need to worry about getting the PC anywhere near silent, it only needs to make less noise than your soundproofing can cope with.

Additionally, why such small fans? 80 and 92mm.

Small fans are usually louder, because they have to spin faster to push the same amount of air.
