Silent PC in SLI, PSU recommendation

I have a hx1050 but when SLI kicks in, the fan of the psu turns on (im using 980ti SLI) and it does make some noise (my case/rad fans are only on 50% max). Should i be getting a bigger PSU(1500w and above) so that its fan would only turn on around 800w?

hahaha thats not how it works.
its all about the quality, not about the wattage.

and the hx is excellent quality, how much are you willing to spend for a near identical stable result but a few db lower noise.
