Silent wings 3 on h7??

Yes, you can install the Silentwings 3 on that cooler.

If you want it to be totally black, though, you should consider a Noctua NF-F12 iPPC 2000 PWM, or a Corsair ML 120 Pro PWM. Both are more expensive, though. The ML 120 Pro is noticeably louder as well.

I've heard that the cryorigs fan perform well but my build is going to be black and red so i don't know if it'll fit, colorwise

This is true. There's about 3-4 dBA difference at a given air flow.

However, you should be aware of the speed control issues of the Silent Wings. They jump from about 60% power output to 100% power output between the speed control settings of 90%-100%. The result is a very rapid and jarring increase in noise if you load the computer too hard.

They can also cause problems when mounting them, especially in the case of retention clips. They're missing the ledge that the retention clips wrap around on the stock fans. This will result in less tension holding them in place. Combine this with the fact that the bolt holes of the Silent Wings are attached via clips, and the difference becomes even more relevant.

You will be pulling on those posts at an angle away from the fan. I'm not sure whether or not that will be an issue for you, as I don't know how strong the clips are.

If the Silent Wings fans can manage to stay in one piece using those retention clips, then they would work better, though.
