Hello list,

When cracking open a Compaq laptop base station I found this Silicom chip.
It functions like a Ethernet pocket adapter on the parallel port
interface. It's coded like:
SILICOM
beloved patriot
9862-069
147613-001
9422YAG

I'm looking for information to get a Linux driver working on this laptop
in order to use the Ethernet interface. I've tried the D-link drivers
(also pocket adapters) to no avail.

Thanx,
Jaap

Like ninjas, true hackers are shrouded in secrecy and mystery.
You may never know -- UNTIL IT'S TOO LATE.

Yep, there are. 16 and 32 bit Win95 drivers are available. ndiswrapper
might do the trick. I'll give it a try.
Anyone decompiling a NDIS driver?

Thanx,
Jaap

The "9422" is probably a YYWW date code. If so, then I suspect you may
even have trouble finding Win9x drivers.
