News Silicon Motion's MonTitan PCIe 5.0 SSD: 14GB/s, 3M IOPS, 128TB Capacity

Hm... if I go without a few luxuries, like no more toothpaste or underwear for the next 14,000 years, I just might be able to afford a used one...

The article mentioned the controller uses a 12nm process. Just out of curiosity - what are the process nodes of typical consumer grade Gen4 SSD controllers?

"Right now, SMI says that its platform can, among other types, work with Kioxia's 3D BiCS NAND and XL-Flash memory, the latest 176-layer 3D QLC NAND memory from Micron, and various types of 3D NAND chips from YMTC. "

Wouldn't it make sense that this controller would support Micron's new 232-layer TLC, especially since Micron's new TLC has OnFi 5.0 support at 2400MT/s, just like what this new SMI controller is supposed to support?
