Yes, they sport a usb 3.0 bandwidth but many are not 4 or 8 channel and only read/write at 30MBps. I am waiting for more higher end drives to come out of the market and the price to drop before getting one, so knowing the bench is important. Want something like a patriot supersonic magnum but its too expensive.

"The consumer also has to take a free 60 day trial of Norton Antivirus 2011, because we're paid to give it to you".

Fixed.

im going to get the cheapest most reliable 32 or 64 gb flash drive soon.

than i can house all of the best images i find on it, instead of my hdd, which is WAY to slow and large a collection.

It is important to note, "The main draw of this flash drive is its USB 3.0 interface, but it is backwards compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 interfaces."

I am glad to know it has this feature, especially since all USB 3.0 devices are backward compatible to USB 2.0 and 1.1, by definition of the 3.0 specification.

What's this obsession with benchmarks? The important information like weight (10 grams!), color scheme, resistance to fingerprints, and that it has a strap hole were covered in great detail.

You gotta love sarcasm!

...not to mention the built-in LED indicator light. I hate those external ones...
