Yes, they sport a usb 3.0 bandwidth but many are not 4 or 8 channel and only read/write at 30MBps. I am waiting for more higher end drives to come out of the market and the price to drop before getting one, so knowing the bench is important. Want something like a patriot supersonic magnum but its too expensive.

I am glad to know it has this feature, especially since all USB 3.0 devices are backward compatible to USB 2.0 and 1.1, by definition of the 3.0 specification.
