Silly question about installing programs onto a second drive

Hey guys, this is probably a silly question but i just wanted to make sure before I did anything wrong . Basically If I have an SSD with Windows 7 on it and a 2TB HDD (which has nothing else on it) which I plan to install, for example, Teamspeak 3. Do I need Program Files in the HDD or is it completely ok to install it when there is nothing in the HDD (as in programs don't need program files or programs files 86 etc).

Sorry if it is a dumb question but i've just built my first pc and I wanted to be sure in case i've done something wrong.

When you install a program, you will usually get an option as to where you want to install it.
The default will be the "C" drive programs folder, but you can alter that specification.

Its fine to just install it right to the HDD.
