Silly Windows 7 SP1 question

I think this is a silly question... Besides the time spent downloading and updating, is there any difference between installing Windows 7 with no SP1 (and doing the billion updates) versus installing a copy of Windows 7 with SP1 already on the disc? I.e. will you end up with exactly the same result?

I have a pre-SP1 copy of Windows 7 Pro from years ago that I'm going to put on a new build but I'm wondering if there is any benefit to getting a new copy with SP1.

The automatic update also update sp. If u install already sp1 no need to download sp.
difference between Old copy to new copy is built version has been changed but all updates work in all build.

Don't use same license key in more than one system. if u do that all systems give message to buy genius copy.
