Silverado Heating Problem

I just finished putting together my new system. The CPU is a 1.4ghz Thunderbird that I was planning to overclock. Because of this I went all out and bought a Noise Control Silverado for the ultimate combination of silence and cooling power. After everything was set up it booted and I went into BIOS to disable onboard audio. While there I checked out the PC Health section and much to my dismay it said my CPU was running at 62C. Isnt that way to hot for a 1.4ghz? I checked the heatsink and it seems to be on ok. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

hmms. few helpful questions here:
1. no themal pad?
2. not to much grease? (no more than half a grain of rice its said)
3. check your core voltage (setting & reading)
4. check silverado centrafugial fan speed
5. check case temp and ambient room temp? what are they?
6. how many case fans?

7. try reseating it again if all are good. maybe u just had poor contact.

8. I also heard of someone who had a plain crap themal sensor on his mobo... (not this forum). it said 75 C on bootup, and got up to 85 on load, yet when he taped an external thermal diode directly onto the chip it was reading 40-52.
