I am wiring up an ASUS Z390-I and a Silverstone RVZ03B box. One of the cables to be connected is an RGB cable to control the LED strip on the front of the box (I want to connect it so I can be sure I can turn it off!). The header on the mobo has no cable guides for this particular cable, you could turn the connector either way - but I do know where the 12V wire should go.
My problem is that in the absence of any steering of the cable, it is impossible to know for sure where the 12V conductor is in the cable. One of the conductors is marked with a white stripe - would you agree that this is likely the 12V one rather than R, B or G?
