Yeah, another Ebay item without driver for windows vista. This is for the 16 in 1 Sim Card Reader. Their software is identified as Sim Editor v6.6, and their representative, after the sale, indicates it does not work with Vista. There has to be a vista driver somewhere....thanks

Thanks for reply. This is a typical eBay item that once you buy it you find out that it doesn't do something or another. In this case 'Vista'. The item is referred to "Super SIM" which is reportedly a 16 in 1 SIM card. I won't even question how that would work, but interest in just one at this time. I contacted the company and they report Windows XP only. I searched on-line and through windows for vista driver to no avail. I even attempted to use another similar device driver, NO GO!

Package consist of small CD, a USB to SIM dongle, and a Super Sim Card. Oh, almost forgot, a short letter requesting a rating of 5 on their site.

Board identifies some markings: CEFC smc R/W, and every thing else appears as component id only.

Again, thank you. I could not find part number, but it would have been nice. I suppose I will need an XP computer for testing.

I told my kids, my next computer might just be the other guys. I also have linux but don't know enough about working it except to be dangerous.

If the company says "XP only", then it is unlikely you'll find a Vista driver that doesn't include some kind of virus. I'm sure you don't want that.

I'd mark this as a lesson learned, perhaps resell it on eBay, then buy one that is Vista compatible.

In the future, when you find something you like for your computer, research for a Vista driver before you buy it. Don't assume it will come with the driver you need.
