Hello,

I have two Kingston 8gb 2133MHz KVR21N15S8/8 memory modules working in dual channel on my Asus B250 Prime Plus motherboard and I want to upgrade from 16gb to 32gb. I can get two new modules for a very good price, but the module is Kingston 8GB 2400MHz KVR24N17S8/8 which is slightly different from mine. I looked on Asus website for a Asus B250 compatibility list for memory, both ram modules are fully supported individually but I don't know how will they work together. I value system stability over slight performance gains, so I don't mind if they work on 2133MHz instead of 2400Mhz. What do you think, will they work together without stability issues?

Memory spec are:

My memory: 2x Kingston 8GB 2133MHz KVR21N15S8/8 CAS latency 15-15-15 - (i think 29) 1.2V
Other memory: 2x Kingston 8GB 2400MHz KVR24N17S8/8 CAS latency 17-17-17-39 1.2V

Rest of the system:

Win 10 Pro with latest updates

CPU: Core i7 7700 3.6 GHz
MOBO: Asus Prime Plus B250
GPU: Windforce GTX 1050ti OC
SSD: Samsung 850 evo 500gb
HDD: 1x 1TB WD Blue 7200rpm and 1x 2TB Seagate Baracuda 7200rpm
Case with 3x120mm fans and 600w bronze rated PSU and one DVD drive

I had luck so far but I guess that this time I will not risk it on perfectly stable system.
And you learn something every day, I never knew that single modules are supposed to work just as singles.

Thanks everyone for answers, I guess that I will start hunting for some dual channels kits.
