I like this Giga mobo.

However, after reviewing comments on newegg, I have to agree that the placement of the ide and sata connectors right up against the pci slots seems kinda "odd"?pic: http://tinyurl.com/y865lb

Any other mobos aroudn $100 recommended. I like this Abit one, but no reviews (and not in stock):

I would need at least 2 pci slots (3 if no firewire port).
SLI not needed
no overclocking
Intel Core 2 duo (E6400)
ddr 667 ok (800 better)
at least 4 gig mem
good integrated audio
firewire port would be nice

The Gigabyte is a 945 chipset & the IB9 (it was in stock but sold out very fast) uses the newer 965.
The IB9 is a very new board & was supposedly designed as a cheaper/mainstream 965 mobo but Anandtech says that it can still overclock to 400fsb. Interestingly they've swiched from the JMicron controller for PATA (that's caused a lot of confusion on various mfrs mobos) to an ITE one.
