Ok I'm only 16, so this can't be too expensive or hard to do. But I have an Xbox 360 and I'm using my neighbors internet (with permission, of course 😉) but the signal is really weak, and sometimes I can't get it at all. Is there any way to amplify the signal? Maybe a cantenna, or would it be possible to buy a router, place it somewhere in the house where there's a stronger signal, and the bouncing the signal to my room?

Any tips or links would be greatly appreciated.

yes, I have used routers before and configured then as a Bridge Repeater. However, in almost all cases you will need to up grade the firmware with 3rd party software from DD-WRT.

I used the ASUS RT-N12, Linksys WRT54G, and the Netgear 3500 successfully.

if you find a router you like, search their DB and make sure it can be upgraded.

routers usually do not provide the option to connect to an existing wireless network wirelessly and then retransmit the signal to extent the wireless network.

therefore it is necessary to change the software/firmware in the router for the option to become available using an aftermarket firmware.

DD-WRT has a database of routers that shows if they can or cannot be converted.
