simple monitor question.

Just bought a 780ti. Planning on going to an sli setup in a couple years.at least 2 more

In the mean time however im running on a 60hz monitor. Would the 780ti be a sufficiently powerfully enough card to warrant getting a 144hz monitor?

I dont plan on adopting 4k im gonna hold out at 1080p till they get the bugs works out. But resolution wise what should I do?

a single 780ti will run just fine on 4k monitors and 144Hz with sli you have plenty of power on 4k and 144Hz monitors
