Simple Planes Massive Lag

So on Simple Planes i built a massive boat, about half as long as a runway. The problem is while i use the boat my framerate drops down into the single digits. Ive checked MSI Afterburner and my CPU usage during this is about 30% (on all cores) and 10% GPU usage. My specs are as follows:
i5 4690k (4.5GHZ)
EVGA GTX 960 FTW 4GB
16GB G.Skill ram
MSI Z97 PCMATE
256GB 850 SSD
1TB Caviar Blue
EVGA 500 watt PSU

If my CPU and GPU usages are so low and framerate is in the single digits there must be a bottleneck somewhere, if anybody knows what the problem may be let me know. Thanks!

Is your boat made out of wing sections or structural panels? Wing sections can be very slow, so that's why we added structural panels.
