This one is probably an easy one for you guys. I was curious if you reset your bios to default settings or reset the cmos does it remove chipset drivers and bios drivers that I installed?

NO, that doesn't touch whatever is on the harddrive. The term "drivers" refer to a piece of software that you install that include directives on hwo the operating system are supposed to communicate to a certain part of hardware. This is always stored on a hdd/ssd.

If the OS does ask for new drivers after upgrading the bios is a whole different question.
