I've tried for a while now to make a something to connect my work bench area (1 or more machines I'm testing connected via a simple 8 port netgear prosafe switch) to a wireless network i created off my Asus rtac3100. I cobbled together a couple quick fixes which a raspberry pi but needles to say it's not an elegant solution but was a fun project. Now i need something designed for this task. I purchased an Asus rt-n12d1 and put it in repeater mode but maintaining a connection between the n12 and the ac3100 is like keeping oil and vinegar separate. Does any one have a recommendation for something that can bridge my wi-fi to my switch that will basically just be transparent to the network?
