Suddenly a couple of suitcase-dressers are showing up in Appliances, the
Build/Plants category starts out with a cluster of vases, and the catnip is
lost somewhere.
I would think I had just downloaded too many objects but the dressers have
actually lost their names and taken on the names of some appliances, and I
know I didn't do that in SEOM.
Is this corruption? And if so what can be done about it?
(I have all EPs)

I've never heard of that happening. Can you recategorize them in
SEOM?

Probably so. I'll try it tonight and let you know.

Schmutzie waved a magic wand at the 'puter, changed into a moose
(OOPS!) - tried again and came up with:

How many downloads do you have? This sounds like the build-mode bug, but
with the buy-mode lapping over.

It does sound like the build-mode bug in a way. That was my first thought.
Well, *I* think I have a lot of objects though some people may have more. It
still loads in a reasonable amount of time.

I was able to change the info on the stray suitcases in SEOM. They had
gotten their descriptions mixed up with some cooktops. Both the cooktops and
suitcases were STPCarly. Also the STPCarly Moroccan/TSO single beds had lost
all their info.

The vases that were in Build/Plants are gone again (and I'm sure I didn't
delete them b/c I still haven't figured out the maker), and the catnip is
still AWOL. (This is not the catnip the pets like to play in but part of a
set of herbs with the UL soils showing underneath, also can't recall the
maker.)

The game runs fine. It crashes once in a while, but I think that's a page
file problem. I regularly run File Cop and SEOM Object ID check.

I categorize by looking at objects in SimExplorer, the selecting something
else, then going to SEOM to change it. My current theory is that I crashed
SEOM one too many times while categorizing, which caused some
categories/info to be munged. Does that sound reasonable?

Yes, it does (unfortunately). It could also happen if the computer is
turned off while in something that has the file open and can modify it, and
then writes back before completion.
