Sims 2 Crashing on Saving 11/23/2013

After reading this I could not replay to this existing thread as it is many years old.

Yes it is happening to me when I try to save anything.

A little bit of an update. The computer is a rig and I did check to make sure that ALL of my drivers are up to date.
