Hi guys,

I have a rampage 5 extreme mobo and it comes with a wifi dongle. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way I can hook up my rig to my wired connection in my apartment and my brothers wifi connection next door to improve my download speeds. Both connections are on separate lines. Is this possible? I have read about dual WAN routers but they require 2 connections directly into the router.

Pretty much you can't combine 2 internet connections to increase the download rate of a single session. The key problem is you are coming from 2 different ip addresses.

There are complex methods using external data hosting centers that try to get around this but the ones marketed to consumers do a very poor job because they just ignore some of the major issues that cost lots of money to solve. If you have big money there are fancy boxes from riverbed or bigip that can actually solve this issues but it is almost always cheaper to buy a faster internet.
