Since 1803 Printer Offline - It is online!

I am still having probs again.

I t was okay but the PC updated again to 1803 and now on booting up, I lose printer access again.

The printer shows in PC Devices okay. Correct IP
The printer LED also shows the correct IP

In diagnostics I get this..
The printers needs to be turned on. - It is on.
Computer appears to be correctly configures but device resource 192.168.20.10 is not responding.

When I press Print in o doc, I get a panel from the right come out and say orinter is offline.

In Local Services..
Function Discovery Provided Host - Running - Set at auto
Function Discovery resource Publication - Running - Set at auto

Trying to access printer via browser.. get Server is taking too long to respond.

The Printer needs to be turned on. Turn on then click 'Next'

Can you reach the printer IP from another computer? Did you turn the printer off and back on?

No, all boxes have been updated so none work on any computers.
Even 1 box and an Epson USB printer doesn't now work

Just checked, I have 1 box still 1709 and the printer works.

So without doubt it is the 1803 update.

Thanks you again guys for all the help and concern.

After maybe a week and trying what all you guys have suggested as well as my own experience, I have it finally working.

The most recent of my activities was to Device Mgr, uninstall the printer like I have done so many times with this problem.

This time I chose the 'Older printer' option and it found the ColorQube 8570DN. It installed and the printer worked.

I had chosen every other option like I always did and assumed the Older printer was to be a really old one, not a 2017 one!

Anyway, it looks like I am now able to get back to earning a few crumbs again !
