So, as the title says, I can no longer change system language anymore. I bought a new laptop in Japan which came with win 8.1. I had no problem what so ever to completely change the system language to English then. Once I updated to windows 10 I could once again change the language to English no problems, BUT, after aprox 1 month after the update my PC restarted and booted up in 100% Japanese. How come? I've tried every guide there is on the interwebs and I'm no stranger to windows alterations and so on but this one gets the better of me. I've seen some thing about ''single language windows'' flying around but I find this unbelievable since with my win 8.1 and right after the update to win10 there where no problem to change to english.
Anyone out here that know what's going on? Can it truly be that MC made it so that I got a trial version of ''windows 10 pro'' that enabled a change of system language just like in it's predecessor but then left me hanging with some outrageous ''single language win10''?!
Regards, / Max.

I doubt it'd be a single language issue though have you tried performing a system restore prior to when the update took place to see if the language options or your previous selection is accessible again(or at least you can change it to your desired output)? If you haven't changed any hardware on your laptop you may want to go ahead an create a bootable USB installer and reinstall your OS and see if the issue persistent.

Might I ask what the make and model number for you laptop is? You may want to pass on your version of Windows 8.1 as well. More here.

+ for the sake of reference, are you following this guide?
