Single channel ram

I'm worried about my custom pc build that i had configured. I bought a single 1x8 ddr4 2666mhz ram with i5 8400 and thx 1060 6gb. I read on the web that dual channel is better than single. Does that mean my ram will bottleneck or slowdown my cpu and gpu? Will my performance be DRAMATICALLY worse? Should i buy one more stick of ram(budget very limited)?

Solution
That makes no sense, you stated up in question that you "bought a single 1x8 ddr4 2666mhz ram with i5 8400 and thx 1060 6gb"
"I read on the web that dual channel is better than single. Does that mean my ram will bottleneck or slowdown my cpu and gpu"
And i said "Only on Amd side, Intel doesnt care much.

And Im gonna repeat again, Intel doesnt care about Ram speed neither is it single or dual channel in games, thats margain of error like 1-5% which is around 5FPS at MOST,
If you had for instance Ryzen CPU like R3 1200 and single ram stick of 8GB Then IT WOULD affect Perfomance.

Your answer is right here in that video.
