Hi.
I'm a home recorder who used to use his laptop (with a headphone jack and a seperate external mic jack) for recording. I used to plug my headphones into one jack, and my mic into the other, respectively. However, i recently purchased a new PC, intending on using it for recording. However, it only has one jack, for both mic and headphones (this i assume, as it has a picture of a mic and a seperate headphone set next to it). My question is, how do I plug my recording mic AND my headphones into the same jack? Would using a splitter work? Or is it just un-doable?
Cheers
