Current Setup:

Gaming Pc
i7-7700k
Msi RX 480 8gb
16gb Ram 2400
240gb SSD
1tb HDD

Streaming Laptop
i7 3820QM 2.7
8gb DDR3 1600mhz RAM
GeForce GT 650M 1GB GPU
500gb HDD(Can replace with a 128gb SSD)

-----------------------------------

My options are:

1) Sell gaming laptop for 400'ish and RX 480 and buy a 1080 and do a single pc stream setup. I also have a spare Elgato HD 60 Pro I could hook up to the main pc.

2) Keep both and keep current stream setup. I use NDI as my way of transferring everything.

My big concern is, I want to get the highest Fps possible while streaming. I am not sure if streaming from a single pc with a 1080 would be better than my RX 480 and dual setup. If you have any reccomendation or tips, please let me know :)

Nvidia has hardware capture with nvenc you can use geforce experience or OBS to use it,it captures with perfect quality without any loss in speed.
You could also use intel's iGPU to capture with OBS using quick sync video (QSV) this also captures perfect without loss.
Even AMD has integrated capture some time ago with their new drivers.
The only thing you have to make sure of is that the capturing program runs at the highest priority possible so that you will get a smooth stream.
(And of course you will need a high upload if you want good quality)
