Hi there!
The other day I was using my PC just fine when suddenly the screen, keyboard, mouse, etc. went off whilst the machine was still running. After some inspection I figured out that the DRAM light was a solid orange and so it was a memory issue.
I have 2x8GB DDR4 4400MHz Viper Blackout RAM sticks on an ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Pro WiFi Motherboard. Less than a year old.
Anyway, after some sleuthing I figured out the issue is one of the RAM sticks. The PC turns on as normal and operates without fault when I take out the one faulty RAM stick and just use the other. It doesn’t matter which of the 2 main RAM slots I use, so I know the issue is the RAM stick and not the slot.

Anyway, I took out the faulty RAM and gave it a clean. Used an eraser. Put it back in and have had a complete roulette of results.
Sometimes nothing changes. Orange DRAM light is solid and nothing on monitor.
Sometimes it switches on to a solid red CPU light:

Sometimes it switches on to a solid white VGA light with nothing on the monitor:

Honestly, it’s a complete roulette with the above options. 80% of the time it is the solid orange DRAM light and no monitor.
I’m hesitant to claim the lifetime warranty because that would require shipping to the US which takes weeks, plus I’m completely broke right now. Me being broke is also why I don’t go to a repair shop and/or just buy a new RAM stick.
Any suggestions?
