i have a budget of about 3500$, for at least the next year i want to build a pc that will game and stream at the same time until i can afford a 2nd pc for streaming. Im having a tough time deciding on a cpu to use. im stuck between the 8700k,and the 9900k. i know the 9900 runs really fucking hot. so far here is the list i have compiled of parts outside of the mobo because thats dependent on the cpu although my options are the asus rog maximus hero(z390) or just a z370 or 8700k

ram- gskill tridentz z RGB ddr4 3600 4x8gb
AIO- cooler master ml360r rgb
1 tb ssd
gpu- rog strix geforce RTX 2080ti OC
evga 850 g3 850watt plus gold psu
nzxt h700i atx mid tower

What cpu do you guys think would do what i want to do best. Im leaning towards the 8700k or 9900k because of the threads as the 8700k benchmarks seem to be on par with he 9700k anyways. Would really like yalls opinions if the 9900k is even worth attempting to use or just OC the 8700k as i am new to building pcs and the PC world as a whole anyway. Im not opposed to AMD if they work better for what im looking to do. Thanks guys!

Solution
The 9700k will be a good idea because of the high for count and that orbs favours more cores.
But if you want a little better performance for more money you can go for the 9900k

is the 9900k worth the extra 200 bucks...with the high cpu temps when its overclocked and i dont trust myself to delid. would it just be better to OC the 9700k or the 8700k?
