SiSoft Reporting AGP running at 2X

It seens that no one replied to my previous post so instead I'll ask a different question. My motherboard supports AGP 4X and it is enabled in my bios. However SiSoft reports the AGP to be running at 2X. Is there another program I can use to check my AGP speed, and if it is running at 2X, are there any suggestions?

Intel PIII 800 at 900(150)
Asus P3V4X
Asus Geforce 256 DDR
