Good to see SK finally enter the PCIe5 race. I like their PCIe 4.0 SSDs - good power efficiency & good performance.

Samsung better release their 9100 soon to get in the race!

I wonder whether they at least make their own controller or they just rebrand something and possibly have custom firmware. Article is too light on useful details and as usual sounds like PR fluff.

SK Hynix used custom controllers for the P31 and P41/Solidigm P44 Pro so it stands to reason this will be as well. The picture shows Alistar ACNT093 on the controller which doesn't associate with anything else (this isn't definitive, but rather more evidence).

It's more about the coffee roasting temperatures PCIE 5.0 devices produce I'd say.
