[SOLVED] Sk hynix Ram

What you mean fake? How to check it?
Counterfeit, duplicate, not genuine, copy, etc.

The fakes these days are really good--to the point they may even function well for a while. But if not genuine, they will fail faster or not have all the features (in the case of network cards this is usually the tell-tale sign).

Ways to avoid this is to only buy used from reputable recyclers if they are older parts, buy new only from reputable online retailers, preferably with a physical retail store as they won't be able to get away with selling fakes too long before people come to their location mad as a hornet.

Yeah I know what is fake, I meant, it's even real? ...Thought there is no fakes in RAM.

I thought it's like, my SK Hynix says it made in China, my friend's modules from Taiwan, that's weird.

There's fakes in almost everything now. Even fake cpus.

Different companies have different manufacturing facilities around the world, so that's normal. But knowing if something is fake or not is so difficult that you typically only find out when you do a warranty and the manufacturer tells you its fake and doesn't return it. So you don't have a replacement and you don't have your fake either.
