I have been using a 1TB P41 as my boot drive since I upgraded my PC in 2022. It has worked flawlessly and is fast. Whenever I get around to upgrading my PC again, I will likely pick up a P51 as a main boot drive and repurpose the P41 for game storage.

25.5 sec with a pcie 4.0 enterprise

2.5 second faster almost save the working day!

but this has nothing to do with being new. Older SSDs are still pegged at maximum 2TB or 4TB depending on the model.

M.2 limits what's possible in terms of capacity it's as simple as that.

There are 8TB drives out there that are not "new" to my definition, and most models can go to 4TB these days.
