Hello Guys

I have this setup :
Peripherals:

Monitor:
Samsung C27F396FH 27" 60Hz
Samsung C27HG7 27" 144Hz
LG TV 32" 60HZ
Headphones: HyperX Cloud Flight
Keyboard: Logitech Wireless Illuminated K800
Mouse: Razer Mamba Gaming Mouse Wireless
Mousepad: HyperX Fury S
Microphone: RØDE NT-USB (Mono)

PC:
Mobo: MSI Z370 GAMING PRO CARBON AC
CPU: Intel Core i7 8700K @5.0
GPU: Palit Nvidia GTX980TI
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX Black 32 GB
OS: Windows 10
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO Basic 500GB
Case: Lian Li PC-7FN Midi-Tower

And this problem:
I have 2 monitors connected to my pc (for gaming 144hz main monitor) (connected through Display Port) and also the LG TV (Connected through HDMI) to duplicate and watch movie. The problem is that when i have the LG TV activated my Main Gaminig monitor caps the game to 60 FPS or more and the game feels "laggy and skippy". Until yesterday i didnt have a problem with it since i always deactivated it through Nvidia Control panel and everything was cool. Now i seem to have same problem when I stream with obs and want to stream my game (game capture) it also feels laggy and skippy. Has anyone of you had the same problem and knows how to fix it?

thank u very much for the help i am very desperate

Ive had this problem in the past running screens with different refresh rates from the same GPU.

If you arent gaming on the TV, I would suggest enabling the IGPU in the bios and running the TV off of the motherboard connection so it uses the gpu on the i7.

Should i also connect the other display to the motherboard? so i have both 60hz on the motherboard and only the 144hz to the gpu? the thing is that i had the same problem before when i had only screens with 60hz. so i dont know if this will fix the problem but i will try it tonight

The monitor that you game on at 144hz will need to be connected to the GPU.

Give it a try, it might be a different problem but worth a go.

Alternatively, try running both monitors at 60hz (enable vsync also) and see if the problem is still there.

Hellou Rob

The problem is not solved... i activated igpu and reconnected the tv and 60hz monitor to the motherboard but the game still caps at 60fps if i activate the tv.. if i deactivate it it goes up to 144hz
