Hi =)

Just set up my new components. Working fine, except one annoying problem.

When I connect my monitor to my GPU via DP, there is no splash/POST screen. I'm unable to enter the BIOS, no matter how much i press "del" or "F2" during boot. The computer boots directly into Windows.

If the monitor is connected to the DP port on the MB, I get into the BIOS.

It's been like this since before I changed any settings in the BIOS

What I have tried this far:
  • Change monitor settings in BIOS from iGPU to PCIe
  • Update to the newest BIOS version (1302)
Any suggestions?

MB: Asus rog strix z390-f gaming
GPU: Asus rog strix 1080
CPU: I9 9900K
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200MHz
SSD: Corsair Force Series MP510 960GB M.2
PSU: Corsair RM850x
Monitor: Benq EX3501R

This is funny, basically the exact same problem I just went through on my Asus board except I'm on an AMD Ryzen build. What I did yesterday that seems to have worked so far is enable UEFI secure boot in bios (if you can get in) and most importantly, update the Nvidia display port firmware.
