Skullcandy Air Raid won't change the volume

So i have had a Skullcandy Air Raid for almost half a year now and recently i noticed a problem,
when i press the volume buttons on the speakers, i can hear the peeping sound, but the volume
is still the same, but when i use my phone to change the volume, it works perfectly fine. I have been able to use it without any problems up until now. I put it in its box and placed it in my cabinet for about 2 weeks and when i took it out to use it, i noticed this problem. Please help!

Did not note any relevant configuration settings anywhere....

Could be an internal button or connection problem.

Warranty, per vendor, is 1(one) year.

Go to their website and submit a claim:
