Sky Box Hard Drives

Hey, so I work for a property rental business, a lady moved out and left a bunch of stuff behind, signed off that we could dispose of it all.

She left 2 Sky HD Boxs.
My boss (who has sky) said they were useless and to throw them away. Me being the only relatively techy guy there asked if I could have them (since they must have a harddrive in them).

Anyway, so I took them home, took them both apart, after some unscrewing and plastic breaking I have now got two harddrives

One is a "Seagate Pipeline HD 320GB" and the other is a "Seagate Video 3.5 500GB".

So what I'm asking is, what can I use these for? Are they only good for storing videos? For TV box refurbs and security cameras or do they have another use?

Does anyone know much these go for? I can imagine many people just dispose of their Sky boxs, I bet someone's making money buying them for next to nothing and taking out the harddrives and selling them?

Any help appreciated,
Spring

Solution
You can use them with anything else, as long as you format them.
Test them for integrity, though if you plan to sell them at a decent price.
Most are already formatted to Fat 32. wipe them anyway.
Been doing it for years ;).
