Sky Broadband High Ping

I have recently been getting high pings in games due to sky broadband. Any ideas on how to fix it?

EDIT - Turns out it was something to do with my PC. Thanks for any responses.

yeah. sky broadband is shite, get rid if you can.
i used to be on their 'unlimited' broadband... and it was limited by the 0.5Mb/s speed...
