Hi, After spending some time away from computers I have come back to them with renewed interest and am currently busy getting myself up to speed with the current technology available in the market

Quick question in regards to the imminent Intel Skylake architecture being released in a few short months: how long will it be until the CPU's themselves and supporting motherboards get released for this new technology? Will the prices likely be the same as current market offerings for Intel i7 5960X CPUs are now? I am looking to build a new computer and I want to know if I should wait the few short months for this technology to be released, or if there will be much more waiting involved? Is there a specific date set for this release yet?

If there are any other factors to be aware of please let me know :)

Solution
wait for it. prices will be slightly higher as is the case when a new architecture is released. August/September. Motherboards are usually released in line with new CPUs
