Skylake build questions

Yes it is. If you're only gaming , I'd recommend going for the I5 - 6600k.
The PSU it's overkill but you'll never know ..... maybe later you will add another GPU.
Overall that's a pretty good build for 1080p/1440p gaming.

That looks fine. I'd say unless you know you're going to need 32GB of RAM and haven't said, then 8-16GB would be absolutely fine. Also, you could drop down to the EVGA SuperNova G2 550/650/750W if you wanted to save a bit of money.
